Fighting Dry Skin With Cetraben

Does anyone else suffer from combination skin? Beyond oily on your T-Zone but incredibly dry on your cheeks and around the rest of your face, not to mention your neck? You are not alone girl. I’m always in tandem as to whether I should cleanse my skin, as I may be stripping essential oils or deciding whether I should use every product I own to try and moisturise my skin.

So when I heard about Cetraben and the wonderful benefits others have had whilst using it, I thought what have I got to lose. In order to fully immerse myself and try and rid the dry skin once and for all I tried Cetraben Cream, Lotion and Cleanser.

WHAT IS CETRABEN

Cetraben’s special blend of ingredients helps people manage dry and eczema-prone skin. Its unique¬†and balanced formulations¬†help to treat dry and eczema-prone skin by re-hydrating and protecting it from irritants.

WHY IT WORKS

I use the cleanser along with the lotion, paired with my usual facial oil, in the morning and switch the lotion for the cream at night on particularly dry areas as it’s a thicker consistency. I slathered the stuff all over my face an neck and the eczema has completely gone from my neck now. Because they make your face so moisturised I feel like my makeup stays in place so much longer then when my face felt so dry. I was so impressed with my new lotions and potions, that I started to trial them on my arms, which suffer from the dreaded keratosis pilaris and low and behold the little bumps cleared up within a week. These wonder products are certainly not just reserved for your face.

My thought process was to use the products solely on my face, however I have recently experienced a bout of ‘bacne’ (I though this wasn’t a thing after the age of 18 but I was clearly wrong). I used a pretty harsh product to rid these monsters on my back leaving me with dry and scaley skin. So not only are Cetraben products perfect for you dry face but also ideal for any dry skin on your body.

Have you tried Cetraben? What did you use, what did you think? Let me know if you loved them as much as I do in the comments.
