Breakfast Smoothie Recipes

Here I’ve shared some of my favourite smoothies to start the day, giving you a burst of nutrients and energy ’til lunch. Plus you can add or take ingredients from each one to make it your taste – enjoy!

Deliciously Ella’s easy banana and oat breakfast smoothie

  • 1 banana
  • 2 Medjool dates (optional)
  • 1 big handful of spinach
  • 2 handfuls of frozen berries (these keep it cool and are much cheaper than fresh berries, but fresh berries and a little ice work perfectly instead)
  • ½ a cup of almond milk
  • 3 tbsp oats
  • 1 tbsp hemp powder
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

Coffee Chia Smoothie

  • 150ml of almond milk
  • 1 banana
  • 1 shot of cold coffee
  • 2 tbsp of chia seeds
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract or vanilla powder

Place everything except the seeds in the blender and blend. Poor into a glass then stir in the chia seeds virgously. Let this mix sit for 10 minutes stirring every few minutes. Add some ice and enjoy.
